Para comemorar os 40 anos de carreira, o grupo britânico Queens irá lançar toda a sua discografia em reedições remasterizadas. Os cinco primeiros discos: “Queen”, “Queen II”, “Sheer Heart Attack”, “A Night at the Opera” e “A Day at the Races” chegarão ao mercado no próximo dia 14, acompanhados de músicas extras, textos adicionais e fotos raras da banda.
Os álbuns sairão em quatro formatos: CD simples (com o repertório original), CD duplo (com todos os extras inclusos) e vinil. Além da versão digital no iTunes, com textos adicionais, fotografias e vídeos.
Os outros 10 discos da banda liderada por Freddie Mercury também serão reeditados ao longo do ano. Por enquanto, não há datas definidas para os lançamentos.
A exposição "Stormtroopers in Stiletto's: Queen, the Early Years", que foi aberta essa semana em Londres e segue até o dia 12 de março, também marca os 40 anos de estrada da banda.
