Uma edição de luxo do do clássico álbum “Darkness On the Edge of Town”, de Bruce Springsteen, será lançada no dia 16 de novembro. O projeto, batizado de “The Promise: The Darkness on the Edge of Town Story”, contará com três CDs: uma versão remasterizada do álbum e dois discos com músicas raras ou inéditas.

O box contará com três DVDs (ou Blu-ray), um deles traz um show de 1978 na cidade de Houston; o outro com um show especial de 2009 de Bruce Springsteen cantando as faixas do disco; já o terceiro apresenta um documentário dirigido por Thom Zimny, com entrevistas, imagens de bastidores e trechos de shows.

Também será lançada uma versão com menos itens, intitulada como “The Promise”, que traz somente os álbuns de inéditas e os textos e letras do músico. “The Promise” sairá também em formato LP.
